Description
This 1970s Brincent Gripper was designed to be a flexible light for use in workshops, garages, etc. and this one has been given a reasonably faithful restoration. The main change from it’s original design is the addition of gold leaf to the inside of the reflector. As a result it radiates a beautifully warm light and with the aid of the sleek dimmer built into the braided cable you can get the light level just right.
No longer consigned to purely practical illumination, this would make a lovely feature piece in any home.
This work light is very similar but slightly taller than the “burgundy” one. North Americans and others with 120v mains electricity please note that the inline dimmer needs 230v electricity to work, so you would need a transformer to make it work.
